こぐま座γ星とともに

地球の歳差運動により

紀元前1500年頃から西暦500年頃にかけて北極星であった。

1つ前の北極星はりゅう座α星で

1つ後の北極星は現在のポラリスである。

固有名の、コカブ(Kochab)は

アラビア語で「北の星」を意味するAl kaukab al shamaliyy のkaukab（星）の部分が残ったものと考えられている。

また一説にはポラリスの別名であるAlrucaba に由来するともされる。

この星はこぐま座γ星と共に、「極の守護者」(Guards of the Pole) と呼ばれている。

北極星ポラリスの周囲にある、肉眼で見ることのできる明るい星としては

最も北極星に近いからであろうとされている。

昔の中国での名称もあり、

北極五星（太子、帝、庶子、后、北辰）のうち帝がコカブである。

これが天帝（太一（大一）タイチー、太極、太乙）即ち天皇大帝である。

その周囲を北斗七星など所臣が廻って守っているとされた。

This time’s healing energy is star DUBHE in constellation Ursa Major.

DHUBE is one of the stars of asterism the Big Dipper.
The Big Dipper is in the constellation Ursa Major,

and the shape of the Big Dipper's ladle is located from the back to the tail of the Ursa Major.

DUBHE is at the top of the ladle, and in Ursa Major, 

it's right on it’s back.
The Big Dipper is easy to find in the spring starry sky 

and can be a guidepost to look for the direction of the Poler Star and True North.

This leads to the mythological interpretation that DUBHE is a guide to the world of the gods and goddesses.

For the bear symbol, it is read as a feminine force 

that buries inward and hibernates in fixed star astrology.

When I actually visit DUBHE in meditation,
after I’m spilt into nine parts through a prism I’m united in one,
then there is a sensation of a straight line connection via the umbilical cord
between what gave birth to me and what I give birth to.

The navel is the connection between mother and child on Earth, 

not only in viviparous animal, 

but also in oviparous animal such as reptiles and birds.

And even on the aura, the energy cord that connects mother and child extends from the navel. 

In the universe, when you see yourself as a child, 

the mother is your roots or cluster.
